The ergonomic 3D cut of the POLAR HOOD provides a good fit with secure grip.
Attach the POLAR HOOD to the SHELL and LINER using the carabiner provided. It’s nice to know that no part of the LAYER SYSTEM can get lost!
PERFECT COMBINATION
With the HEAT LAYER SYSTEM you combine different LINERS (inner gloves) and SHELLS (mittens) with the POLAR HOOD (mitten overcoat). Choose the gloves that suit you best!
100% OUTDOOR
Strong wind- and water-repellent fabric made of 100 % nylon with membrane coating make the POLAR HOOD robust and almost indestructible.
SOFT THUMB TEXTURE
Velvety soft fabric on the thumb protects the nose and you can wipe off glasses and displays without leaving scratches.

CORRECT MEASUREMENT
Measure the circumference of your hand as shown on the picture.
- Keep your fingers apart when measuring.
- You can use a tape measure. Tape should not be too firm.
- You can also use a string or any flexible cord. Wrap it around your palm, mark the edges and then measure it with a ruler.
- Tip: measure both hands, and use the larger measurement to select your glove size.

The additional heat output is generated without additional isolation material, but by the air entrapped between the POLAR HOOD and e.g. the SHELL.
At only 144g, the POLAR HOOD is a thin lightweight - rolled up it easily fits into your equipment.
